If you’re waiting to tune into the ninth episode of Yellowstone Season 5, you may be wondering: is it streaming tonight, and if not, when is it out?

Is Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 9 on tonight?

No, Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 9 isn’t on tonight. The show is on a mid-season break and won’t return until later this year.

When is the Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 9 release date?

Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 9 will air in November 2023.

Episode 9 will kick off Yellowstone’s final episodes, with the show coming to an end with Season 5. This was recently confirmed after months of speculation and reports about alleged on-set drama between showrunner Taylor Sheridan and Costner, who’s been working on his Horizon epic for Warner Bros.

In a statement, Chris McCarthy, president & CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, said: “Yellowstone has been the cornerstone on which we have launched an entire universe of global hits – from 1883 to Tulsa King, and I am confident our sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life.”

David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios, also said: “The Dutton story continues, picking up where Yellowstone leaves off in another epic tale. We are thrilled to bring this new journey to audiences around the world.”

The cast and crew have reportedly been left in the dark in terms of when Season 5 Part 2 will commence production. Even Wes Bentley told Gold Derby: “I can’t tell you anything because I don’t know myself, and to be honest even if I did know anything, I don’t know if I would say. It’s so much fun seeing the reaction and it’s all come from it being unexpected.

However, a glimmer of hope was offered at Deadline’s Contenders Television panel on April 16, 2023, where director and executive producer Stephen Kay revealed there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

“Taylor [Sheridan] is in Texas spinning hay into gold and we’re hoping we’re hoping we’ll do it soon,” he said. “Everybody’s excited.”
