Sister Wives has been airing for over a decade, and in that time, there have been many dramatic cast members who have aired their grievances onscreen.
Since 2010, TLC has been giving getting an in-depth look at the Sister Wives cast, who, more often than not, overdramatize their family issues. In his mind, Kody Brown has done his best to please all four of his spouses. However, each of his four wives would probably beg to differ.
The TLC network knew they had a hit on their hands when they met the polygamous family who hailed from Lehi, Utah. The concept of a family like the Browns going public with their lifestyle was unheard of. However, Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown all chose to be brave in order to destigmatize the Mormon and polygamous life they lived. There were some scary moments along their journey, which included having to take the entire family and fleeing in the night to Las Vegas. Nonetheless, over the years, the Sister Wives stars started to settle down into a nice routine.

Kody’s love affair with multiple wives started at a young age while living in Wyoming. The father of 18 first married Meri Brown in 1990 and shortly after picked up his second wife and spiritually married Janelle Brown in 1993 and later Christine Brown. In 2014, Kody unexpectedly decided he wanted to add a fourth wife, Robyn. Without a doubt, Kody may be the most dramatic of the Sister Wives cast, mainly thanks to his performance during the latest season.
Once Kody realized Christine was leaving him, he decided to throw caution to the wind and become an “actor.” Some of his performances could have garnered him an Oscar as Kody screamed at Christine for “stabbing him in the kidneys.” Another time, Kody gathered his wives around a campfire to cry and scream out loud. His outbursts have been the most embarrassing of anyone, with most muting his tantrums when he appears on-screen.

It will be challenging to find one person who finds Robyn enjoyable to watch on Sister Wives. From early on, the mother of five was made into the show’s villain, with her origin story being about her first divorce. Robyn often made outlandish claims about how Kody was her savior after a toxic first husband. At times, Robyn even identified herself as “She-Rah,” her alter ego.
However, a pivotal moment showcased how dramatic Robyn could be during the most recent season as TLC cameras showed her contracting COVID-19. While there’s no doubt that Robyn was ill, she pushed her husband to take her to the hospital. While in isolation, she managed to garner enough strength to use her phone and video herself waiting for a doctor. It was also noted that she wasn’t monitored or hooked up to any breathing apparatus. Robyn’s all-sick act didn’t sit well since she probably should have stayed home in bed.

Janelle is usually one of the most down-to-earth Sister Wives cast members, but there have been times when she let her flair for the dramatics get the better of her. During Sister Wives season 17, Janelle was trying to keep her cool when she asked Kody about their plans to move and build on Coyote Pass.
