General Hospital (GH) Spoilers leaks Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) were both ecstatic when they believed Molly might be pregnant, as it would mean they could become parents together much sooner than expected. Unfortunately, their dreams of a future family unit may not come true. Molly is about to learn from her doctor that she is infertile and is not capable of carrying a pregnancy of her own. To add insult to injury, it won’t be because of endometriosis alone, but because of abnormal cells that turn out to be cancerous. With a total hysterectomy in Molly’s future that will rob her of her womb, she’s not going to become a mother in the most traditional sense like she always imagined she would.

General Hospital Spoilers — Molly Lansing Davis’ Big Secret

Molly will have a difficult time coming to terms with this news, and she won’t be able to bring herself to tell T.J. the truth. She may justify withholding the truth from him by telling herself that he doesn’t need to know until they are ready to actively try for a baby. But, this could have devastating consequences for their relationship if Molly chooses to keep T.J. in blissful ignorance for very long. It’s not going to be easy for Molly to entertain the idea of growing a family with T.J. in a test tube or in another woman’s body. Even with all of the medical interventions at their disposal at a world-class hospital, Molly hates the thought of it.

General Hospital Updates – Cancer Doesn’t Wait

In the meantime, while Molly is trying to figure out the best way to tell T.J. she won’t ever be able to get pregnant with his child, she’s going to be delaying treatment for cancer. Knowing that the cancer is likely contained in her uterus means she’s somewhat luckier than Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) was. Removing her uterus and doing a few rounds of chemotherapy or radiation could leave her in pretty good shape without any spreading, but the longer she waits to proceed with the hysterectomy and subsequent treatment, the more likely her cancer will spread. Didn’t she learn anything from Willow’s situation?

What Does the Future Hold?

No matter what happens, Molly and T.J.’s relationship is sure to be tested in the coming weeks as they strive to navigate this difficult time separately — and eventually, together. With honest communication and understanding, they may still get a chance to be the family they both dream of. Only time will tell if this couple can weather this storm and come out even stronger on the other side. Do you think they have what it takes to keep going after this? Will T.J. feel too betrayed to even consider moving forward with baby plans with Molly? Certainly, he can’t leave her in the lurch when she’s battling cancer, can he? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
